Nowruz — Multi-Format Cultural Experience

The Nowruz project is one of my favorite personal works, not just because of its creative scope, but because it let me combine multiple disciplines — CG art, VR development, and physical fabrication — into one cohesive experience.
The centerpiece was a full CG recreation of a historical painting, meticulously rebuilt in 3D to preserve its detail while allowing for new perspectives and interaction. From there, I designed and developed an educational VR experience that allowed museum visitors to step inside the artwork, explore its elements, and learn its story in a more engaging way than a traditional wall plaque.

To extend the experience beyond the headset, I also created a 3D-printed version of the scene, giving visitors a tactile, physical connection to the work.
The aim was to transform a passive viewing experience into an active, multi-sensory journey — blending cultural preservation with immersive technology. By offering visual, interactive, and physical touchpoints, visitors could connect with the art on their own terms, deepening both engagement and understanding.
The project was also showcased at FMX, one of the world’s leading conferences for animation, effects, games, and immersive media, where it received attention for its innovative approach to cultural storytelling.

This project represents the type of work I’m most passionate about: bridging heritage and innovation to make art and history more accessible, interactive, and memorable.
