Tomb Raider — Feature Film (Warner Bros.)
As a Senior 3D Artist on Tomb Raider, I was responsible for bringing one of the film’s key environments to life — the canyon sequence. This work involved a combination of creative, technical, and environmental storytelling skills to ensure the scene matched the film’s gritty, adventurous tone.

My contributions included lighting and rendering final shots, as well as building the entire canyon environment from the ground up. I handled set dressing and layout for the sequence, carefully arranging rock formations, terrain, and debris to create a believable, cinematic space that supported the story’s action beats.

In addition to layout and dressing, I led the look development for the canyon, crafting shaders, textures, and lighting setups that conveyed depth, scale, and atmosphere. The goal was to integrate the CG environment seamlessly with live-action plates and match the established visual style of the film.

The final shots blended practical and digital elements into a cohesive, high-stakes action sequence that enhanced the immersive world of Tomb Raider. This project exemplified the balance between artistic direction and technical execution needed to deliver high-quality visual effects for a major feature film.
